Thanks to my international career, I have established contacts all over the world and have an excellent professional network. This enables me, as medical director of YOUSEE, to put the latest knowledge and state-of-the-art technologies at the service of our patients. Here, we consider our services not only as lifestyle surgery, but as a medical specialty.
In addition, individual consultation and personal care for each individual patient are very important to me. When planning laser eye surgery, I always ask myself whether I would have this procedure performed on myself or my family members. This special relationship of trust enables me to offer my patients the best advice and the greatest possible safety.

Laser eye surgery is a matter of trust, which is why we are happy to introduce our team and our doctors: Prof. Theo G. Seiler, MD, FEBO Ophthalmologist FMH will advise and operate on you in Basel, Bern, Zurich, and Düsseldorf.
Prof. Dr. Theo G. Seiler speaks fluent German, English, and French.
After studying medicine at the University of Zurich, I completed my specialist training at the Klinikum rechts der Isar hospital in Munich, the Inselspital hospital in Bern, and Harvard Medical School in Boston. I have been working as a senior physician at the University Eye Clinic at the Inselspital hospital in Bern since 2018, where I received my venia docendi (habilitation) in 2020.
With this diverse scientific and clinical experience, I have been working as the medical director of YOUSEE since 2020 and also as a senior physician at Düsseldorf University Hospital, specializing in refractive surgery and corneal transplants. I continue to contribute my expertise to specific scientific and clinical issues at the University Eye Clinic at Inselspital Bern and at IROC in Zurich.

The Anterior Segment Excellence Congress, organized by IROC in Zurich, is a specialized continuing education event for ophthalmologists and specialists in the field of ophthalmology. It primarily covers topics related to refractive surgery, corneal diseases and their treatment, and the treatment of cataracts with various artificial lens implants.
